We were just voted one of the 100th best places to bring your kids. In the old town area we have the New Mexico Natural History museum, which has dinosaurs and an IMAX theater. The kids always have fun there. Then, right across the street from there we have Explora, which is a hands-on science museum where you can do experiments. Kids can see why balloons float or why lead drops and so on. All kinds of good stuff is in there. Then, we have an amusement park called Cliffs. We have a new roller coaster. Then, there are outdoor activities in the parks. Families can hike, bike, and take nature walks. We also have a fabulous zoo, as well as an aquarium, and a botanical garden. There are a lot of things for kids to do.
