I have treated several women for that and my last case was a Hispanic woman who came to me for a little more than a month and I left town with my family for Spring Break in March. I can treat almost anything by using points on the legs, arms, hands or feet. You have to treat certain points on the body to stimulate particular acupuncture meridians. Some meridians have more to do with the hormones than others. And everybody who comes in has a little different problem. Even if their complaint is infertility, they might be a little different from another person who's complaining of infertility. So you have to see everyone as an individual and see what particular acupuncture meridians are out of place or out of balance, and you treat those particular meridians.
There are six different types of infertility, so it can be treated six different ways. In some cases you might treat the kidney, in other cases you might treat more predominately the liver meridian, and you might treat the spleen meridian. Those organs affect fertility; the health of the woman's uterus affects the woman's fertility. There are obviously structural things, like a tilted uterus. There are many things involved in infertility.
