There is no difference between African and honey bees; they are all honey bees. The African has problems between its ears, but you cannot take an African and a regular bee, put them side by side and tell the difference unless you let them go. The African will sting you; they will attack you. People that have been using a lawn mower, a backhoe, chain-saw or some device that has a motor in it have been killed by African bees. They detest that sound that the motor makes and it sets them off. The only animals that get killed are animals that are restrained, such as a horse that's tied up or dogs that are leashed in the backyard. If they are tied down, they can't get away and the bees just swarm and the hundreds and hundreds of stings will kill the animals.
