• Teriyaki House. This is a great place for Chinese or Japanese food. It's along Ahkovah Street in Barrow. Expect to pay $8-12 a plate. It's the northernmost Chinese restaurant in the United States. 907-852-2276.
• Top of the World Hotel. This is a plush hotel that offers a great place to stay. Many of the rooms offer ocean views. This is a very nice hotel to stay at during your trip to the area. 907-852-3900.
