Are you having problems with your kids not wanting to eat vegetables? They are certainly necessary for him to obtain proper nutrition for health and growth.
First of all, most all parents have this problem at one time or other, so do not think you are alone.
When you serve vegetables tell your kids they will be eating "brain food" and they will become very smart and really do well in school: this is true as nutrition makes a difference in a child's performance in school.
Try planning and planting a small vegetable garden: let the child help you work the soil, plant the seeds and tend the vegetables and he will want to try them as these vegetables were grown by him. That's one thought: especially if you already grow your own vegetables, give him a special area of the garden just his own.
Please don't let food become a battleground at the dinner table, and try to be creative at changing your child and his attitude toward vegetables.
You can perhaps make some casserole dishes with pasta, meat and vegetables, put some bread crumbs and cheese sprinkled on top and he'll love the dish and not realize he is eating those unwanted vegetables. Try serving the vegetables with a yogurt dressing to dip them in, such as raw carrots, or any type of healthy dip or dressing that your child might already like.
Another thought would be to grate vegetables in those casserole dishes so they would not be noticed as readily as if in a larger form. This may sound sneaky but if it starts your child to thinking or even trying new vegetables it is worth the effort.
Also keep lots of fruits in the house as they supply great nutrition and don't take the place of vegetables but they will help him to learn to like different foods. I do hope my suggestions have been of help to you in getting your child to eat those vegetables.
