Chinese green beans recipe

Greens beans stir fried with ginger and garlic give this dish a wonderful flavor.

1 pound fresh green beans

1 tablespoons scallions, chopped

4 cloves garlic, pressed

6 thin ginger slices

3 tablespoons sesame oil

1 tablespoon sugar

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1/4 cup water

Boil beans 3 minutes. Drain and plunge into cold water. Drain. Saute scallions, garlic and ginger in hot oil for 1 minute. Add sugar and soy sauce, cooking until sugar dissolves. Add beans and water. Reduce heat and stir-fry 3 minutes.
