BIOGRAPHY
Demetria Guynes was born in Roswell, New Mexico to Victoria Guynes. Her father left before she was born, and her stepfather, Danny Guynes, added an abusive element to her life. He committed suicide when she was seventeen years old. She quit school when she was sixteen to become a pin-up girl. She married Freddy Moore, a musician, when she was eighteen. The divorced four years later.
Moore began her acting career as a regular on the television soap opera GENERAL HOSPITAL and her film debut was in the movie CHOICES. Along with the success came wild parties and an addiction to cocaine. She got clean three years later when the director of ST. ELMO'S FIRE, Joel Schumacher, threatened to fire her if she did not get sober. Moore's career took off when she starred in the smash hit GHOST.
She married Bruce Willis in 1987 and had three daughters with him, Rumer Glenn, Scout LaRue, and Tallulah Belle. Moore sparked controversy when she appeared nude on the cover of VANITY FAIR while she was pregnant with Scout. She and Willis are now separated.
