Everybody dreams, it is just that you do not always remember what you have dreamed about. But all of us have had dreams that startle us, or wake us up and make us wonder what they all mean.
Falling in a dream is very common. You wake with a start, before you hit the bottom. It is quite disconcerting and can re-occur over a long period of time. Falling in a dream indicates there is something that is not resolved in your life, or that you are running from. It will probably continue to recur until that matter is resolved.
Natural occurrences can mean a variety of things. A volcano can symbolize emotions and generally indicate somebody with a quick temper. A fire represents sexual desire, and is generally seen as good luck particularly when at a home, which indicates a happy home. A fire at a place of business indicates prosperity. Lightening represents the advent of love in your life whereas a snowfall can indicate emotional distress. A snowstorm can represent extreme frustration, and if you are climbing a snow covered mountain you are probably having business disappointments. Rain is another aspect that can mean a number of things. If you are watching the rain from a window, then it means prosperity, but if you are standing in it, then your plans are slowing down. A rainstorm is an indication of emotional upset. The sun too, means different things depending on how it is depicted in your dream. A sunrise is happy times, whereas a sunset warns the dreamer of money and property matters. The sun coming through the clouds is a sign of prosperity to come.
Animals in all forms appear in many peoples dreams, and can all mean different things. As a rule a pet is seen as a sign of contentment and companionship, whereas a wild animal usually represents lust. Ants show us there is minor irritation in life, bats are bad news, bears can represent a rival, and elephants are signs of power force and memory. Friendly dogs denote friendship, where as biting dogs are a sign of anxiety. A baying dog is seen as a death in the family, and a growling one indicates depression. Cats are usually seen as symbols of women so an angry cat denotes a female enemy. A thin cat signifies bad luck about a friend. A white cat indicates a youthful indiscretion, or a loss. A Lamb indicates happiness, although a lost lamb indicates uncertainty in your life and dead lamb is a bad sign. Mice represent insincerity and deception, although some modern interpretations see them as sexual symbols. Reptiles warn of obstacles, in particular snakes, which warn of arguments. Tigers are a sign of fear and a wolf is a friend who is really an enemy (wolf in sheep clothing).
A Death usually indicates a closing passage in someone’s life and a dream about a cemetery represents news from someone in your past. Dreaming about a bath for a person who has been married, can indicate remarriage is in the offing. Bridges show you can overcome an obstacle. If you dream you are blind you are failing to see your own faults, and if you are drowning in your dream, you could simply desire to be reborn. Rings show friendship, marriage and love, shoes show you to be tolerant and respectful of others. Trees symbolize pleasure and success, dead trees foretell losses. If you are cutting down trees in your dream, avoid arguments.
Whatever you dream about, it will be your subconscious trying to tell you something. Enjoy your sleep.
