A delicious soup sure to please everyone.
Ingredients:
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup canned chopped tomatoes
1 cup chicken broth
3/4 package fettuccine or other pasta
2 tablespoons basil, chopped
1 cup Permesan cheese, grated
Directions:
Combine the garlic and 3 tablespoons water in a deep saucepan. Cook slowly until the water evaporates and the garlic softens. Add the tomatoes, broth and 2 1/2 cups water and bring to a boil. Add the fettuccine and basil and cook about 10 minutes or until the fettuccine is tender. Stir in half of the cheese and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top before serving. Serves 6.
