Ginger goose kebab recipe

These tasty goose kebabs are marinated in rice wine and ginger sauce for a great evening meal with rice and a salad.

This healthy, fast and easy to make vegetable and meat skewer kebab grill recipe makes a picnic or barbecue lunch, party favorite or dinner. This recipe serves 4.

INGREDIENTS:

16 oz. skinned and deboned goose, cut into 1 inch chunks

1 onion, coarsely chopped

½ cup sunflower oil

1 cup rice wine

1 cup soy sauce

½ cup ginger syrup

a spinach salad to serve

soft crusty rolls to serve

METHOD:

Combine onion, oil, rice wine, soy sauce and ginger syrup. Add goose pieces and coat thoroughly. Cover and chill for 5 hours.

Preheat grill to hot. Using metal skewers, pierce centers of each piece until full. Balance skewers on a grill pan and cook for 5 minutes each side, or until juices run clean. Serve hot with a spinach salad and soft crusty rolls.
