• Bicycle. This is how most people transport themselves on the island. If you're flying into Key West, you may want to just rent a couple bicycles for your group. With a bicycle, you can ride around to all the different sights on the island, and have a mode of transportation that is safe and fun.And you can get plenty of exercise while you're at it. • Taxi. This can get expensive, but because the island is so small might be worth the cost. If you just need to make a few journeys across the island on your trip to Key West, this might just be the best way to go. If you think you'll spend most of your time on the beach or in places that are within walking distance, why not just hail a cab when you need one?
