The costs of a wedding just keep rising. You have to pay for music, food, flowers, photography and videography. It is hard to find a place to cut costs and not sacrifice quality.
Party favors can cost anywhere from $5-$10 per guest or more. Favors are an important part of your wedding because you are giving your guest something to help them remember your wedding. They are important, but they are also the easiest and best place to look when trying to cut costs.
The following four favors are easy to make and do not take up a lot of your time. You could have your bridal party help you. Best of all, each favor will cost you under $5! Your guests will love that personal touch you will give to each favor.
1. LIQUOR FAVOR: You will need X amount of tiny liquor bottles (ex. Bailey's)(about $1.25/bottle),
X amount of circular netting ($1/bag of 15), a bag of small rubber bands (.50-$1/bag) and X amount of ribbons with your names/date on them (about $15/40 ribbons).
a. Place the bottle in the center of the
netting.
b. Bring netting up around neck of bottle.
c. Wrap rubber band around neck of bottle
over netting.
d. Tie ribbon around neck in bow or cross
over.
**ABOUT $3.00 PER FAVOR WHEN FINISHED
2. FRAME FAVOR: You will need X amount of glass frames with stands (usually found in $1 store), paint markers ($8/set) and tissue paper ($1/bag).
a. Write names and date on glass.
b. Decorate as you wish.
c. Wrap in tissue paper.

**ABOUT $1.50 PER FAVOR WHEN FINISHED
3. BUBBLES FAVOR: You will need X amount of boxes of wedding bubbles ($5/box), X amount of circular netting ($1/bag of 15), a bag of rubber bands (.50-$1/bag) and X amount of ribbons with your name/date on them ($15/40 ribbons).
a. Place bottle in center of netting.
b. Bring up around bottom of bottle neck.
c. Wrap rubber band around neck.
d. Tie ribbon around neck in bow or cross
over.
**ABOUT $2.00 PER FAVOR WHEN FINISHED
4. KISSES FAVOR: You will need X amount of Hershey's Kisses ($1-2/bag), X amount of circular netting ($1/bag of 15), a bag of rubber bands (.50-$1/bag) and X amount of ribbons with name/date on them ($15/40 ribbons).
a. Put 2 kisses in center of netting.
b. Wrap netting around and gather at top to
form a bag.
c. Wrap rubber band around netting gathering.
d. Tie ribbon around rubber band in bow or
cross over.
