1 c flour
3/4 c white sugar
1 1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c brown sugar
1 egg, unbeaten
1/4 c syrup from fruit cocktail
1 1/2 c drained fruit cocktail
1/2 c chopped nuts
1/4 c brown sugar
Sift first 4 ingredients together into small 2-qt casserole. Add 1/2 c brown sugar, fruit cocktail syrup and egg. Blend and stir indrained fruit cocktail and nuts. SPread batter evenly in dish. Sprinkle top with brown sugar. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.
