An easy Christmas Star Ornament for children using materials found from Mother Nature. This craft is great for Pre-School and Sunday School.
Supplies:
4 Peach Pits or Large Nuts (Pecans or Walnuts)
2 Acorns
7" Wide Ribbon
Hot Glue gun
clear acrylic spray
Optional:
Small dried materials
Directions:
Lay pits or nuts on a work surface with rounded ends together and pointed ends out.
Glue together at the center. Take ribbon, and glue each end centered on each side of ornament. Glue an acorn on top of each ribbon end, covering it.
Using other small dried material, can be flowers, more acorns or nuts, etc., glue to spaces between acorns and pits or nuts. When glue sets, spray ornament with clear acrylic spray.
