Water cake

1 3/4 c sugar

1/2 c margarine

Dash salt

1/2 c cocoa

Cream the above ingredients and add 1 c cold water, 2 c flour and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat well. Add 1 tsp soda that's been put in a tbsp hot water. Bake in 350 degree oven until done.
