Numerology, scoffed by some and adhered to by others, is an ancient art of prediction. It has taken the meaning of symbols dealing with the relationship of the mind, body and soul, and converted it into a numerical system. The most important number to any human being is the birth number.
It is very easy to find out your birth number. You simply write out your full ‘birth name’ on a piece of paper. It is important to use the full name you were born with, as this number will be the core of your basic personality traits. Then convert the letter of your name to the numbers 1 - 9. I have shown an example below of my own name.

Now you can add the individual digits together, until they form a single number. If we take my example then you can see that
3+ 9 +1+ 1+ 2+ 1+ 3+ 6+ 5= 31
3+1 = 4
so my birth number is 4.
But now you have found your birth number, what does it mean? Read the guide below to work out what your birth number is telling you about YOU.
For all of these numbers I have started by showing the planet you were born under, and the element that most relates to you. Do not confuse this information with astrological influences, these symbols are what contribute towards your natural attributes.
Number 1: Planet - Sun, Element - Fire. YOU are passionate, creative and exciting, a risk taker who loves to be the centre of attention. Just be careful with your money though, as you have a tendency to be frivolous.
Number 2: Planet - Moon, Element - Water. YOU are sensitive and domestic, with an emotional nature and fertile imagination. You like to be near water, and can be quite psychic in nature. Be careful around too many people as they can tend to overwhelm you.
Number 3: Planet - Jupiter, Element - Fire. YOU are a sensitive and domestic soul with a passionate and creative nature. Religions do not ring true to you. You are not very materialistic. You have a great sense of humour and are a very trusting person. However you protect yourself from being used by relying on your own ‘gut’ feeling which will not let you down.
Number 4: Planet - Uranus, Element - Air. YOU are ahead of your time so you can appear eccentric or strange. This combined with your interest in the paranormal and occult all adds to this illusion.
