1/2 c butter
2/3 c honey
1/3 c cold coffee
1 egg, beaten
1 c whole wheat flour, sifted
1/2 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c grated raw apples
1/2 c bran
Cream butter and honey. Add coffee, which has been mixed with the egg. Add dry ingredients alternately with the grated apples; pour in a greased 8-inch square pan and bake at 350 degrees fo 15 minutes. Lower temperature to 300 degrees for 20 minutes more.
