[Essential oils] can be helpful with migraines. We use them for more than just massage. I think we use them as preventatives to almost never get colds or sore throats. There are ones that are antibiotic, antiseptic, antifungal, and antibacterial. There is whole book written just on lavender and the things it can do to keep you from having problems. Some people have irritable bowel syndrome. A drop of peppermint in water (and you have to be very careful about which kind that you have before you take it orally) can be very helpful. [Using essential oils for] depression, coping with anxiety, relaxing, and stress relief is always a good thing. There is a lotion I've made with Roman chamomile that, when you put in on a mid-back spasm, it will soak in and release it.
