Why does my Air Conditioner power on and off so much?

Check to see if the unit is set to power save mode if it is powering on and off a lot.

Check to see if the mode is set to "Power Saver" or "Energy Saver". Use Power Saver only when you are asleep or away from home, since the fan does not circulate the room air continuously. Use Low, High or Turbo for your best comfort.

The room in which the air conditioner is located may be too small, and cool air blowing from the unit may be hitting a close facing wall. This cool air may then quickly bounce back to the unit's thermostat, causing the unit to short-cycle and turn off. Check the cooling capabilities of your room air conditioner. The air conditioner's capacity may be too much for the room in which it is located.

The outside temperature is below 65 deg F. Do not try to operate your air conditioner in the cooling mode when the outside temperature is below 65 deg F
