Does acting experience look good on a resume?

Include as much experience as you can without being too overwhelming. You don't want to list 100 day jobs, but you want to list about 10 really good experience jobs.

In all honesty, I don't think that having "extra work" on your resume is going to get you much, but it is the knowledge you learn and the experience you learn. Everyone has to start from the ground up. If you are hired as an extra the director might say we need someone to say this line and you have gone from being an extra to being a day-player. You may make more money, and now you can put "day-player" on your resume. That is more impressive.
