How is aromatherapy related to a massage?

Aromatherapy helps massage therapy patients to relax during massage treatment.

Aromatherapy basically is another type of natural healing where when you smell certain fragrances it does different things to your body. Some of the fragrances help relax your muscles, some of fragrances help stimulate the nervous systems and some fragrances just relax. Some fragrances just stimulate different things and so if a person would use aromatherapy for that reason. Normally when you go in to get a massage, you don't necessarily have a lot of aromatherapy. Some massage therapists use certain aromatherapy maybe just to scent the room. It could be just a candle or oil or something like this for people to smell that will help relax the body. It's another adjunct therapy.
