How can I determine the authenticity of Noritake china?

It's difficult to knock off china, stamps make it even easier to confirm the authenticity.

Well it's really difficult to knock off chinaware and we have backstamp on it that clearly says it's Noritake. The earlier backstamp had an M on the back, which stood for the Mura & Mura brothers. But it will say Noritake on the back. We have seen some counterfeit stuff, but it's so much work to do a counterfeit that people would not even bother.
