How to Clean the Filter in an Edenpure Heater

The manufacturer recommends that Edenpure filters should be cleaned daily. The unit may be operated without the filter in place. However, the filter catches larger particles such as animal hair, and may reduce the risk of a fire. The filter can be cleaned in just a few minutes by following these suggestions.

Step 1

Unplug the heater from the electrical outlet.

Step 2

Remove the filter cover on the back of the unit with a screwdriver.

Step 3

Rinse the filter under warm running water.

Step 4

Allow the filter to dry completely before replacing in the heater.

Step 5

Place the filter back in the unit.

Step 6

Replace the filter cover and screw in until there is resistance. Do not over-tighten.

Step 7

Plug in the heater and operate as usual.

Skill: Easy

Ingredients:

  • Phillips screwdriver

Tip: According to the manufacturer, the heater can be operated without the filter.

Warning: Never open any compartment of an electrical appliance without first disconnecting it from the power supply.
