Should I see a dermatologist before starting a skin care treatment?

Before starting skin care treatment, it's best to speak to someone who knows the effects of the chemical ingredients in skin creams and other products.

I think it's wise to talk to someone who is at least knowledgeable of what the ingredients are because many of these creams that I see being advertised in magazines and such will say they contain this or they contain that, and quite frankly that doesn't do much topically on the skin. They are going to put lot of chemicals on the skin, so I think it's wise to talk to somebody who knows what those chemicals are going to be able to do.
