What are the characteristics of diamonds?

Diamonds are characterized by their color, cut, and clarity.

When it comes to the clarity of the diamond, each diamond is different. It doesn't matter what size it is or anything. Every diamond has its own nature's birthmark to them. It can have carbon spots, bubbles or little feathers in it. All around each diamond is going to be different from the other. The less inclusion that it has, the more expensive it's going to be. The diamonds range anywhere from I1 and I2 inclusion that you can see with the naked eye all the way up to flawless diamond which you never see one in stores. The closest that I have ever seen to that is a diamond which had a very, very small inclusion. Thus, it is something like a pin point at 30 times magnification. So, that's near flawless. That's the highest that I have seen because a lot of times you will have to order anything above that. It just varies basically on what is in your diamond.
