What does a foot massage consists of?

Foot massage is great for relieving stress in the whole body.

There is foot massage which is simply rubbing the foot and a person will use their normal massage techniques on the foot. But everybody who does that knows about foot reflexology and so they work with that in mind. This means if you find a spot that is sore or something that you would try to work some freedom into that point and get some blood flowing. That's to stimulate reflexology. Hand reflexology just means that when you work those areas, you send what we call small stimulus to the area that it reflexes to. If you are working with the stomach area, then reflexology helps perhaps with the stomach if the stomach might be having a problem. Or if a person is holding some tension in the stomach, it might help release that. It's very indirect and that's very subjective. Scientifically a lot of people would not consider it to be useful. But subjectively a lot of people had all kinds of amazing results from just getting their feet worked.
