We laser material in the dent of the ring if there is a gouge or something. We use to burnish it or fire it out but now we can actually fill that area and finish the ring. We need to take it to a repair company like a manufacturer that would actually laser the dents.
If the ring is real bent up the expense is relative. A lot of times cost really doesn't matter. What matters is if you the jewelry or not. Or if it is a problem you can leave it there. It's fine. If it is dented on the top or if you are looking it all time, maybe you should get it fixed.
