Kaplan University offers online associate's and undergraduate degrees in the Health Sciences. A.A. and B.A. Options

Kaplan University offers several online degrees in the Health Sciences. One advantage to this option is that you increase your chances of being accepted into a M.A. degree program in Health Science or a related area; this is especially true if your previous B.A. was in another field.

Admissions

Admission to an undergraduate program in Health Sciences at Kaplan University requires proof of high-school graduation or an equivalent educational credential, such as a GED (General Education Development) certificate.

Costs

As of 2009, to obtain an Associate in Medical Assisting at Kaplan University, tuition and other required fees were slightly above $32,000, while completion of a Bachelor of Health Science cost slightly more than $63,000. Financial aid is available by way of federal grants and loans as well as private sources of funding and scholarships. Also, if you are an active-duty military service member or a veteran, you may qualify for a reduced tuition rate.
