How do you find a licensed massage therapist?

Contact your local Department of Health for a listing of licensed massage therapists.

Well, if you go to the Department of Health, they have a listing of all the licensed therapists. Sometime peoples will list that in the yellow pages. The yellow pages are supposed to ask for a license when clinics do advertising with them, but it is not guaranteed. If you are in Texas go to the Department of Health or whatever the regulating body is in the state that you live in. In Texas you just have to complete a 300 hour licensing course and pass your state exam and the state practical. This process takes anywhere from six months to a year.
