Which magazines and books do you recommend for quilters?

As far as magazines, the three big quilting magazines on the newsstands are the Quilter's Newsletter, McCall's Quilting, and Love of Quilting.

As far as magazines, the three big quilting magazines on the newsstands are the Quilter's Newsletter, McCall's Quilting, and Love of Quilting. These magazines combine both news about quilting along with patterns and how-to articles.


There are a number of authors that produce quilting books including Alex Anderson and Kay Wood. You can find their books in most book stores.

In Austin, we produce a quarterly magazine for the International Quilt Association, which is a worldwide group of about 5000 quilters.
