Can massage therapy help neck injuries?

Neck pain and injuries can be treated with massage therapy.

Yes. We have this sort of rule of thumb where there are certain things we know how to do. A good massage therapist, who is a certified or licensed, should know to the limits of their practice and refer people to doctors when that is a really the appropriate thing to do at that time. A lot of times when a person is first injured, if it is at all serious, they shouldn't come to the massage therapist first (generally speaking). And a good massage therapist will be able to tell whether that's the case or not. A lot of massage therapists work with chiropractors and physical therapists and even doctors, either by referrals or right in the office sometimes with doctors. Massage therapists can help a lot with neck pain or neck injuries.
