What is a neuromuscular massage?

Neuromuscular massage therapy is a technique between Swedish massage and deep tissue massage.

Neuromuscular massage is a type of deep tissue massage. A special type of deep tissue massage because you are working on your muscles in a very aggressive way. I would say that most of the time when you are getting a neuromuscular massage or a deep tissue massage, then you are kind of zeroing in on a ceratin body part that is bothering you. If your back is bothering you, then you wouldn't be doing neuromuscular or deep tissue on the legs. Even though you might go in a little deeper on those areas than you would just do with Swedish massage, but may be not quite as deep as a deep tissue massage.
