What is the Noritake color wave?

A consumer digest "best buy," Noritake Colorwave is a popular line because of both color and shape.

Noritake color wave was introduced seven years ago. It's a casual dinnerware pattern and it just got ranked as the consumer best buy by Consumer Digest in July 2005 because it's very simple looking very durable stoneware. It's a solid color but the interior is an ivory so it goes well in a western environment, it goes well in an Asian environment, it goes well in a traditional or contemporary environment and it does that because the exterior glaze has a mottled unique color and the interior is very smooth ivory and the shape of the dinnerware is what we call a scoop shape. There is no shoulder on it; it's like a flattish saucer type of a look which a lot of people really just absolutely love. It's the number one gift registry pattern. It really seemed to hit a cord with just a large number of people. It was a number one seller at the San Marcos, TX store. It was a number one seller in RiverHead, Long Island. It's a number one seller in Orlando, Florida and so no matter where you are people see it and they go up, that's just what I have been looking for.
