What treatment do you recommend for oily skin?

Tips from a dermatologist on how to treat oily skin.

You should use stronger soap - drying soaps. Women, particularly, find an astringent helps to remove the excessive oil. Oily skin is better than dry skin, because the oily skin will hold the moisture in the skin, and you don't get chapped.

Some people just have an oily complexion and should use oil free make-up to keep the face dry. Occasional use of an astringent, an alcoholic product if you have a very oily skin, is okay, but you don't want to remove all the oils.
