What are the natural ingredients in organic soap?

Learn about natural ingredients that go into making organic soap.

We have a peppermint soap line that includes soaps, lotions, and hand and foot balm. All of our products come in every flavor.

Peppermint is really good for relieving muscle aches and any type of stress. It's an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. We usually use ground peppermint leaves and peppermint oils in the soaps and lotions.

We also have a line of lemon and almond skin care products. We use ground almonds and sweet almond oil. It's basically a mild exfoliating scrub; it unclogs your skin pores. It also helps absorb excessive oils from your skin. It takes the place of using the chemical Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, a chemical found in many skin care products in stores. We don't use it, because it strips away the oils from your skin in an unnatural way. It strips away all the good oils that your skin creates. The almond mix with the lemon will just scrub off what your body doesn't need anymore.

We also use cinnamon. We ground up the cinnamon and use cinnamon oil for another line of skin care products. Cinnamon is mildly abrasive. It's a general antiseptic. It's a stimulating scent known to reduce stress, and it's also considered an aphrodisiac.

We also have an orange and poppy seed line. The ingredients act as a mild exfoliating scrub.

We use calendula petals and calendula oil in our skin care products, as well. They sooth dry or cracked skin. It's a good antibacterial antiseptic, and it has good anti-inflammatory properties.

Lavender is another great scent. We use lavender oils and petals. It's a relaxing and calming agent. It aids in soothing headaches and stress.

We also have an oatmeal and cinnamon concoction. It acts as a mild exfoliating scrub. It's good for sensitive or irritated skin, and it's also a general antiseptic, as well.

For facial soaps we use a Moroccan red clay for very oily skin. For acne we use green clay, which is basically a green French clay mixed with tea tree oil. The tea tree oil is good for acne and green clay is good for drawing out excessive oil in the skin. It has good skin toning properties as well. The tea tree oil is an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory.

We also have a vitamin E face soap. It prevents wrinkles, and it is a very mild soap. It's a good product for older people, who don't have oily skin. As you get older, your skin gets less oily, and that is where the wrinkles come from.

For our lotions, we use the same natural ingredients. We also use apricot and avocado oils for moisture. We mix aloe vera into everything we make, as well.

We also use dead sea salt scrubs. Those are made with just dead sea salts, olive oils, ground oatmeal, ground almonds, ground up soap, and essential oils. Essential oils, for example, would include lavender, lemon, orange, peppermint, or cinnamon. Those ingredients are actually really good for eczema or any type of rashes that you have on your skin. What people are realizing, these days, is that your skin really does absorb a whole lot of minerals and chemicals.

Many companies have caught on to this and are creating transdermal weight loss lotions. The only problem is a lot of those companies are using isopropyl alcohol in their products. This dries out the skin very quickly. The sooner the American public starts to realize what these chemicals can do to your body, the sooner we can get away from harmful products that can damage our skin and bodies.
