What are the symptoms of psoriasis?

Symptoms of psoriasis include arthritis, red scaly plaques on the skin, and the appearance of a skin infection.

There is an arthritis that's associated with psoriasis, which can cause a potentially crippling arthritis. But the biggest problem with psoriasis is that you have these big red scaly plaques on the skin, and people assume you have got leprosy or something else, and it's a very devastating problem for people who have it because of it's appearance. If they are standing by people in an elevator, people will kind of move away from them because they are sure that they have got some infection that is bad. It is mainly the appearance; there are very few symptoms associated with it. You have these big red scaling areas on your body. It is very difficult for people, and this disease is a real problem for 3% of the population. I think that you really have to spend time working with the patients.
