Red is hard to keep on the hair. We really recommend a shampoo to upkeep red hair. After the third week of coloring, they can use that shampoo to maintain the ends of the hair because the roots won't really change very much. The ends will maybe get a little bit orange or a little bit lighter red. They will do the roots and they will do the ends and so its color back in to the hair for the next 3-4 weeks.
Q: What shampoo do you recommend for somebody who colors their hair red ?
It really depends on the hair type. You can buy a very expensive shampoo and it might not be good for your hair. Other times, you could buy a cheap shampoo and it works great. So again it depends on the hair types.
Q: Are there any good shampoos, conditioners to lock in your red hair in the grocery store?
I will say any shampoo that has moisture in it. This will maintain the dryness of your hair.
