How to Make Silicone Strength Bracelets

Silicone is a durable material that makes it perfect for making bracelets. Silicone bracelets are also popular because of the messages that can be inscribed on them. You can buy some, but it is inexpensive to make them yourself. You can wear them anywhere, even in a pool or ocean.

Step 1

Place your hand (either one) into a fist. If you are making a bracelet for someone else, ask them to place their hand into a fist. Measure around the largest part of the fist with your measuring tape. Write the number down.

Step 2

Buy a silicone sheet at your local craft store, or purchase a silicone baking sheet at a store that sells kitchen ware. These sheets are inexpensive and can make several bracelets each. They also come in many colors.

Step 3

Lay your ruler out over the sheet and cut a straight line along the edge of the ruler with your utility knife. Stop at the measurement you recorded on your paper.

Step 4

Decide how wide you want your bracelet to be and then cut the same length on the other side. When you are done you will have a long rectangle.

Step 5

Wrap the bracelet around and place some strong adhesive in between the ends of the bracelet. You can physically hold them together until they dry completely, or you can use a clamp. Any clamp will do, even clothes pins.

Step 6

Decorate your bracelet. You can etch a saying on the top, use a permanent marker to make a drawing, or glue on some jewels.
