Skin care salons are all different, but some specialize in spa type treatments for the skin.

A skin care salon is all sorts of different things. It is a very generic term and it can mean practically anything. People should just be aware of what they are getting into and should know exactly what's being put on their skin. There are some doctors' offices that have a spa-type arrangement where they have patients come in and use various preparations on the skin to improve the texture of the skin.
