What are stand up tanning beds?

A stand up tanning bed is simply a vertical version of the horizontal tanning bed.

They are a vertical version of the regular horizontal ones. They have upright grooves surrounded by lamps running vertically and horizontally. You stand in them, and they than you very even and quick. The advantage is that they don't create any circulatory pressure points on your body like lying down flat on an acrylic shield does. That way you won't end up with those little white spots.


Generally speaking, the tanning lamp is a fluorescent or high-pressure lamp that contains the right mix of phosphorous powder to determine the percentage of UVB and UVA the lamp has. For more information, you could call Light Sources, because they manufacture the lamps.

The beds are kept clean with the use of a disinfectant and the right operator. It should be cleaned from top to bottom after every session. I mean, I have a team of people to nothing but clean.
