Startup money for a small business

In order to gain money for a small startup business, you need to have a business plan in order.

They have to do a business plan. The business plan will determine how much money they need. They have to do their homework. They have to investigate the business and do a lot of research, depending on the type of business. Let's assume it's a retail business and they have experience in a retail business. They've got to estimate their expenses, which can be done fairly closely and they've got to estimate their income. You've got to have working capital until you break even. Most businesses lose money for a certain amount of time and there is no way of telling how long it's going to be unless you really know your business. It would never be exact, but you can come fairly close.
