Tourist attractions in Champaign, Illinois

What's nice about the community is that there are different attractions to fit different ages or just different types of people. The University of Illinois plays a major role in our attractions. They have the second largest art museum in the state, which is Krannert Art Museum. They also have several other museums. They have the sports facilities which are state and nationally known such as the Assembly Hall and the famous Memorial Stadium, which is where the Chicago Bears chose to play their season when they were under remodeling. They also hold the Japan House, which is an authentic Japanese home with cultural concepts, sculptures and authentic tea ceremonies. There is also Hardy's Reindeer Ranch, which is our number one group travel attraction in the county. It is an Alaskan Reindeer ranch in central Illinois with opportunities to have activities with reindeer as well as banquets and they also have a corn maze. It's a 10 acre corn maze they cut into the corn and from aerial view it always depicts a unique picture every year. It's actually a very in-depth corn maze that you have to get through with checkpoints. This year (2005) they are featuring an aerial view a picture of the Assembly Hall. It's pretty interesting.
