How should one care for their vinyl records?

Learn how to store, organize, and clean your records at home.

There are little bags and plastic binders that can store a cover and the LP itself. I guess the best thing to do is just to stack them up horizontally on a shelf or something. It's not going to hurt them if you're trying to keep album covers in good condition. You're probably going to need a little protective case, a bag or plastic sleeve or something so they don't get dented or the cardboard doesn't get ripped. I don't care that much sometimes but the better ones are all put in sleeves.

You can just dust them off with a rag. I don't know if any specific liquid cleaner or anything. They actually will last longer than CDs and in the scope of time. But the problem is they are more fragile and easily scratched. They're prone to accidents when handling them naturally. But if you are really careful or just considerate, then they will last longer than CDs.
