Why does water drip from the Air Conditioner back into the room?

Water dripping from the AC unit may be an indication that the unit is not level.

The air conditioner may not be leveled properly. The air conditioner should slope slightly downward toward the outside. Level the air conditioner to provide a downward slope of about 1/4" to the outside. Note: Do not drill a hole in the bottom of the metal base and condensation pan - this will negatively affect the cooling capability of your unit.
