What makes the Whirlpool washer unique?

Whirlpool interviews many consumers before putting their products up for sale.

I would say consumer insight goes into the Whirlpool washer. We spend a lot of time finding out what's important to our consumers. So a cycle is not added to our machine simply because we can add it. We add it because the consumer has a need for it.


It's consumer insight driven. All of our product development is consumer insight driven. At Whirlpool, for the past five to ten years, we have been named, "The Energy Star Partner of the Year." What we bring into our product development is a lot of pride. We love getting that acclaim, so we work heavily on energy efficiency, but never at the stake of performance.
