Number one would be Omaha's Henry Doorly. Kids love to ride the steam locomotive train traveling around the zoo. We also have the Omaha Children's Museum which has many educational, interactive exhibits. There's also the children's performing arts theater, The Rose, which was a palace in the late 1920's. It hosts many stage productions including "Beauty and the Beast".

Kids love the riverboat cruise on the River City Star and touring the Durham Western Heritage Museum, which features an old union train station and ice cream at the working soda fountain.

Omaha is a very affordable city to visit. The typical itinerary would start off with the zoo, maybe have lunch there, and afterwards walk across the parking lot to the Rosenblatt Stadium for a baseball game. Rosenblatt Stadium is where the Omaha Royals play and also home to the College World Series.
