Having a way to display such bedding without posing a risk to the child is the key. The theme for the nursery is picked out and the parents buy the cute matching comforter or quilt that goes with all the other accessories. It is important not to put this bedding in the crib with the child, so what other options are there. One thing that the parents can buy to display the quilt on the wall is something called a quilt clip.

These quilt clips will often come in a set. You can buy ones that are plain and will go with multiple different quilts or comforters. These are usually in a solid color or may even be striped or polka-dotted. You can also purchase quilt clips that match the décor that you have picked out. They have animals, cartoon characters, and many other objects that would go along with various designs. For instance, you could hang a handmade afghan up in the family room on display. They are most often used in a child's room due to safety issues of having bedding in the crib, but they are also just as useful in other areas of the home as well.

Decorating a baby's room can be one of the most exciting times during the pregnancy.
