I think a woman should be very careful with her handbag and her shoes. That is where you need to put your money. The wrong shoe or a cheap looking less expensive working shoe can pull down a fabulous outfit. However, a wonderful shoe and bag can lift up a mediocre suit. Every woman should have a couple basic purses. It is too expensive to have only trendy. I wouldn't put a lot of money in something very, very trendy because it is too much money. I would have a fashion look to it, but I wouldn't go super duper trendy. Ask yourself, are you willing to buy for this season only? If they say yes then have fun with it. If they are not, then I say lets keep looking. If they buy expensive purses then it will not go out of style next year. Luxury purses are indestructible, but I like a little more of a fashion look for everyday. Remember, if it is trendy you have to ask, am I willing to put money into it? Of course everything looks better on a younger person. I mean it is a fact of life and they can get by with less expensive clothing than a mature woman. The older you get, the more important it is that what you put near your face should be of high quality. You can't get by like you could in your 20s.
