Bed-And-Breakfasts In Indianapolis, Indiana

Bed-and-breakfasts in Indianapolis, Indiana. Indianapolis, Indiana has many bed-and-breakfasts to offer travelers. The Villa, Kendall Inn and the Yellow Rose Inn are a few. One is called The Villa and it...

One is called The Villa and it is fashioned after an Italian Castle; a gentleman in the early 1900s built it for his wife. They had honeymooned in Italy and she fell in love with it, so he built this home for her, fashioned after that. It's now turned into a bed-and-breakfast and in the basement they have a spa so you can go there stay and get a massage or a manicure. They also have their own restaurant, which is highly unusual for the B & B. It's a real nice restaurant and they do special things like they have a cabaret night once a week through the winter months. They have wine tasting. They have several special little packages that you can participate in. They also own two other ones, the Stone Soup Inn and the Looking Glass. Those are just huge homes that are being converted into B & Bs. Then we have the Yellow Rose Inn which is another huge home in the near north side that was converted into a B & B. That has a unique health room with a pool table. It's got a rooftop Jacuzzi, so it's a great place for the 4th of July to watch fireworks. It's really pretty neat because it has a view of downtown where you can see the fireworks and everything. There is the Kendall Inn which is a historic former base. It used to be a hospital and they completely renovated it. They have these 28 uniquely decorated rooms that have king and queen sized beds. They have garden bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs and showers they have completely retiled so its all high tile in there and multi-jetted showers. A couple of them have fireplaces and that's pretty neat. They are doing this thing where you can rent the whole property for I think $3000. So a lot of people are doing it for weddings where they rent the whole property. It's got a banquet room and a bar and then their guests stay right there. So that's pretty neat and it's a unique property.
