One of the great things about Boca Raton is that we're so centrally located. We are mid-way between Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, both of which have a large performing art center. Boca Raton is a beautifully manicured, well kept city. You can get a map for 50 cents in person or $2.50 by mail. If you call for a visitor's packet, one will be included. The population within the city limits is 84,000. Years ago we had an older crowd, but since families started moving in, the median age is now 43. We are basically a residential town rather than a tourist town. The people stay here and then travel 30 minutes to Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale, or an hour to Miami.
